Crown / Cap on tooth
A crown/cap is a restoration that reproduces the entire surface anatomy of tooth.
Indications:
1.After root canal( as tooth becomes brittle and fractures easily without cap.
2.Tooth with multiple surface decay
3.Tooth with proximal decay/contact area of tooth broken between two teeth.
4.Children with special health care needs.
Crown/cap may either be steel coloured or white coloured.
