root canal in children
Procedure of removal of infected/necrotic pulp from the tooth followed by filling of a suitable biocompatible material in the roots and covered by a white filling.
Crown/Cap is mandatory after root canal as this procedure dehydrates the tooth and thus tooth becomes more brittle and susceptible to fracture.
